Run a craft knife along wall edge. The shelf will be secured with screws nails or adhesive. Tap the shelf with a hammer until both pieces fall down and remove them from the cabinet. Some of the brackets required a small screw when you installed them.

Look on the bottom of the shelf and you will see same colored stickers covering the holes.
